Sort my stereo out... i need some new decent front speakers.

Don't know what the deal is with tweeters, crossovers .etc what should i go for?

I've got a 12" Sub in the back running off an amp. Will i need to amp the fronts?

I've got some 6x9s also in the back and ok barry norman i don't need any reviews on how good or not they are but they're fucked... do i renew them with some other 6x9s? or should i get some other components to sit in the back or not as no one is in there it's just stripped out....

Also, the Sub cone has a split in it but i've superglued it together thinking about getting another cone whats a good 12" one and should i maybe then get a new amp and use my existing fusion one to power the fronts.... options options

This is what I would do .. get decent comps for front and amp them. After all you will be there and not at the back. Drop the 6x9's option if you have a good sub. Get a monoblock amp for the sub and use the fusion for the fronts.

and amp them.

I've got Genesis Profile 16 components in my doors running off an Alpine MRV-T420 amp in the boot and the sound quality is good and they are loud enough. Also have an Alpine Type-R 10" sub and Alpine MRD-M300 amp.

Dont really need rear speakers with a good set of components. If I had the money I'd maybe stick another set of components in the rear doorcards but that would mean buying another amp and I'm pretty happy with the way my set up is now.
