okay........ so i wasnt actually mugged but its the principal.
i need some advice, i parked up here today in liverpool, paid and displayed for an hour, came back after 30min and found a parkin ticket, confused i was but opened up to see what lay inside, apparantly i wasnt in a white box and was parked on a single yellow line. rang customer services and they kept tellin me i should of parked within a white box??????? am i in the right or not???
please help,

Did the 4x4 and motorbike recieve a ticket as well? You look inside the line to me, I think.

the bike did but i duno why the 4x4 didnt. probably a well known drug dealer.
as for the pic, shoulda woulda coulda, i paniced. lol.

ackers - what street was that on, i cant quite tell... I can see the pay & display sign though, least its in the shot!
fact is, the yellow line does run through the boxed area, but if its a designated parking area then im unsure what will go on...
I'll have a look later myself if I can...

Also, the wardens could either be trying to fill there quota, or it could be some newbie unsure of where a car parking bay actually is...

it was edmund street
round corner from the passport office,
but i checked the street and it doesnt say anythin for designated parking or times, just a sign sayin "have you payed and displayed"
i did and i still got a fookin ticket!!!!

contest it
ring them again tomorrow, say you have been back to the area, you were parked in the boxed area, have photographic evidence of this, you have the pay & display ticket with the times on (expiry and so forth) location etc...
its all in your favour tbh
if they want to take it to court, let them, its there cost not yours!

CorAsh is correct. Blue badge in the window and on a single yellow line. Same thing happend to me a few weeks back.
