Close one.

I'd imagine a CTR but it would be very much down to the driver.

Dont forget the CTR has the advantage of being the fastest car in the world

Jim you know full well the CTR is the fastest car in the world, you have no chance at all, when that VTEC kicks in you better hold on because your going back to the future

Stats from letstorquebhp

Civic Type-R 02 197bhp, 0-60 6.57, 1/4 mile 14.97

Volkswagen Corrado VR6 96 190bhp, 0-60 6.92, 1/4mile 15.33

I'd rather have the Corrado. Much cooler and they sound great.

CTRs look shit & and the ones I've heard didn't sound nice.

figures are weird, i've seen places claim that the 1995 corrado did 6.4secs to 60

its all bent anyway, i'll probably manage 7.5-8.0

Most CTR, sorry correction ALL CTR drivers are uncapable of launching it without spinning the front wheels up for ten days so the Corrado will win.

You buy a CTR if read Top Gear magazine and know nothing about cars, you straighten your hair and use fake tan.

at ganging up on the CTR driver!

Civic Type R can do sub 15second qtrs.

Its the same as most folk on here who cant launch an XE corsa... they wont break into 14's cos they cant get off the line quick enough!!

no, ctr driver just cant drive... and if he took all his interior out then the car wouldnt weigh over 1200kgs... and it would be quicker again...

CTR's are the nuts! But they aren't torquey! Ive had a Civic VTi 1.6 160bhp, now got a 2.0 Corsa runnin 160bhp about and i feel personally the corsa wud piss it! The feel of Vtec is great tho!
