Hi!!I want to lower my Corsa as low as I can so it gives the car a really sporty, poised look!!
But im not to sure what size alloys to get,and how low to go?!
I did want 17s cus theyll look beasty, and i did wana drop it 40-60mm
But now I think I should just get 16s but shell I drop it 40,or 60mm?
I dont really want to do to much work on the arches, but yet I do want it look low!!
Cheers!!

as long as the alloys are the right offset and you dont go too wide with the tyres (195 as
a rule) then you wont have any problems.
Personally mine is 40mm on ET49, no rubbing and i like it as the wheels sit just under the rear arch and not far from the front. You can go 60 but more cost is involved as shortened shocks and camber adjustment bolts are needed to get the best out of it and to stop uneven tyre wear

Ah rite okay!!so you think 40mm or 16s then?
Well I wouldnt mind goin 60mm but would I be scraping the bottom if i go over humps? And would there be any scrubbing?I didnt know you had to get shortened shocks and bolts.
I know I would have to set the camber, and realine.

Camber isnt adjustable from factory on the B, so camber adjustment bolts are needed, these are £85 from regal, and to get the best handling and to stop your standard shocks wearing out quickly shortened are highly reccommended on lowering more than 40mm
which is what stopped me lowering mine 60mm

Probably best going coilovers if you have the funds, or a matched shock and spring set

Yeh they are probably your best bet if you cant afford coilovers, probably looking in the region of £200- £250 for the s+s kit

As close to ET49 as you can get. You may get slight rubbing if they are not ET49, but easily solved if you do, the arch mod isnt the hardest job in the world

You can get a Gmax kit for around £200, not the best quality but does what it says on the box. 16's lowered 60mm looks good to me.

if you want cheap way of lowering go for springs (£80) 40mm is as far as you should go, but will prob nacker ya shockes in the end! if you got 60mm you will prob have to modify the front arches, best bet is a suspension kit. the adjusterable dampers i fink are a waste of time, on my spax coilovers the are fully unwound fully wound in its shacks at 1mph

the only difference between coilovers and a suspension kit is that the coilovers are adjusterable ride height, mine are as high up as poss (50mm) and the et49 15" tigra wheels just scub but they are 185/55 tyres so when i fit my 195/45 should fit better + i can lower more just get a suspension kit:
