oh right damn im trying to sort out the stereo it doesnt display the radio stations, ive had to rewire the entire loom as the previous owner ok cut off the standard stereo loom, i've managed to get a loom and plug from vpsc matched all the wires up except 1 brown and white wire which i dont have any spares on the car loom for it to go on. I get the message CODE in the middle of the display but the radio stations dont appear there when trying to use the radio.

You have to type in the security code for the head unit...

yes i can do that Sam and the headunit work fine.,, but it doesnt display the radio stations on the mfd

Does it display tape information or you just get date in the display?

Could be loom related, also try this if its out of another car -
