theres going to be some excellant games available, some ones i'm particularly looking forward to are MGS4 and Killzone 2, but i don't play my PS2 enough to justify buying a PS3
ps nice one, i'm gonna have to buy my own

i have the time, i just coulnt justify £550 odd quid for a ps3 tbh, total ripoff.
Only that high becasue of the built in blu-ray player.

spose... if there are some 'gripping' titles, then fair enough, but still not at the current release prices...
now the 360 has come down to a more sensible level, I am seriously debating buying it now purely for Dead Rising & Gears...
maybe when the PS3 becomes sub-£300 then maybe, but not until then...

thats even if blu-ray will actually take off... its still a very expensive media to use, has its issues... might be another betamax-vs-vhs again (blu-ray vs hd-dvd)...

yes but they are still losing developers, the 'big guns' are there to rely on the impulse buy and hype sony has with it, but to be fair there is alot of speculation within the industry
the development systems i've seen and toyed with are still far from completion (ok there about 8 months old still) but from what I heard there still very similiar to the ones which were used at E3 to showcase the system...
but it still doesnt make up for how damn difficult it is to develop for...

No matter how many people moan about the price of the ps3 every single one of them will be sold instantly.
Thats a few million blu-ray players in homes this christmas and new year.
The final dev units went out a couple of weeks ago.
