the drivers side one is jammed, got a new one from vauxhall, for the barrel and key, cost £50 (give or take a few quid) Is that a little bit expensive or just me?
would it have been better to spend a bit extra on delocked door handles and an "ok" remote central locking kit? would have got more for the money i reckon
edit: crap spelling

has the lock just stopped working?
could be that little clip on back of barrel, about £1 from vauxhall. Was quite common for that to break, mine did twice then i delocked it

Have you fitted it?
If not, take it back and say that you no longer need this

no, the key wont go in. My dad siad a key must be broken and stuck inside, im sure there must be other ways of fixing it than buying a new barrel oh well.

2nd option would've been best, yes.
I got rear corsa door handles without locks for a fiver from the scrappy
It would've worked out dearer than £50 if you bought an alarm tho, but i'd say an alarm was a necessity anyway.
