got some time off work soon and was thinking i may get under corrado and redo the underseal, or give it some kinda coating ready for winter?
is it one of those jobs where you don't know where to stop?
i take it i would need to wire brush the whole underneath of car, rust treatment/prevention, then coat with something?

You know you can buy 5 litre barrels of Waxoyl James? You don't have to buy lots of little tins.

dont wire brush it as your remove what allredy underseal is there, VW use a stone chip formular which is actully very goodm high power pressure washer will remove all the shit, but not the decent underseal
ed, the big can is fuckign difficult to heat up

3M do a very good aerosol bitumen underseal.
It is very easy to use and much neater, cleaner and tidier than a brush and pot and will leave a more factory orientated finish.
Not cheap though i'm afraid. You get what you pay for.
