got a old computer what is needed for the internet , but is quite slow well very slow what can i do on the cheap to make it so it can cope with msn up and two web pages ?
i was thinking ram ? because its only 64MB now

if its running XP, its gonna need AT LEAST 128 RAM. look into getting 512, they are probably old SD RAM modules, pretty cheap stuff have a look on fleabay.

That will run the net fine with windows 98 or something on it?
Don't see the point in upgrading anything to look at a couple of webpages.

yes it did but some reaso the system doesnt pick up 98 up anymore,doesnt find pc card etc even had a lad who knows abit have alook said just install xp

you need SD RAM PC100
it takes 512MB max
I would buy only 256MB top..
