my advice:
unless you have £3000+ to spend on turboing an x14xe dont bother.

well anything can be made reliable with the right money spent and precautions taken. more difficult to make it cost effective, reliable and quick though. thats where tb's are so much better.

who says it would cost £3000 ive got intercooler, t2 turbo, xe injectors, turbo piping, nearly a manifold, engine, exhaust and few other bits for less than 300 quid just need a few bits such as oil feed and return and a couple of bits. just a try really as it wont cost much and i have the facilities to do it myself. ok thanks dave a

to be fare to him he dosent want to do the useual 'wack a 2.0l in' he wants a challange, which would you rather a fast 2.0 or a car you have modifed and worked on your self to acheive we need more ppl to try to put turbos and superchargers in the corsa, (just so i can copy and do it with less effert )

with that spec a standard ecu is never going to cope.
what are you going to use to control ignition timing, boost control, fuelling lambda.......
plus compression will be extremely high and will probably blow up in no time. Im not trying to talk you out of it or doubt your abilities in any way but even when people have spent thousands on these set-ups they have never been quick and reliable.
