You don't brew vodka you distill it which is illegal to do from home.

Yes but its a major fire risk, as the vapours given on in the process are very flamable.

And to be honest it would be chearer and taste better to drink white spirits.

You need a still (can use a large pot) in which the source material is heated, a condenser in which the heated gas-vapor is cooled back to the liquid phase (matter)|state, and a receiver in which the concentrated or purified liquid is collected.

As alcohol has a lower boiling point it get more concentrated as fermentation only produces up to a certain % of achohol before the yeast is killed.

oh and if you make a small mistake on distilling you get methyl alcohol instead of ethyl and your either die or go blind which is another reason why moonshine was banned.
