Everton did well they deserved the victory...

Too many of our players under performed today...Carragher was clearly not right after his injury...Riise shown that he was also rushed back injuring the same ankle again...we made too many defensive errors which cost us...our internationals looked a little tired...

Alonso has being playing poor all season...he should be rested...

I thought Benitez in his selection had one eye on the champions league game tuesday leaving Bellamy out the squad...and Pennant on the bench...Gonzalez not even in the squad...

Just walked home from the pub to the sound of Everton fans beeping there horns and hanging out of cars which I thought was a little over the top...

Well done to them though...they deserve there rest midweek now and can put there feet up and watch us on TV go to a tricky away game in the Champions league...

It just wasnt our day today which happens in football...where as every break went for Everton today...
