any good? my mate came over last night, and he's bought an Imperial Blue on, it looks great, seems to go pretty well too, and he reckons it handles ok.
who has one? i know Demo does...
so, what are they like? are they quicker than other similarly sized 1.6 engined cars?

don't know too much about them...slower than the corsa, vtr, vts, gti but handle fairly well.engine is slightly harder to tune than the corsa lump iirc e.g. having to spend more for less gain, but still good cars

for a standard fun to drive runaround its great just dont expect it to light up the tarmac.
At the end of the day if its fun to drive thats all that matters right?

I've driven one, not for long mind. Was pleasantly surprised at how quick it was, people slate them saying they are slow. Seemed ok to me, and the handling was spot on too. For a standard car I was impressed.

that guy who raced one in his 1.4 sport probably did beat one, they are awful probably the worst 1.6 hatch out there in terms of performance, even worse than a corsa sport!
10+ to 60!!

I like these. Been took out in a mates before, really nippy and good handling as standard. Heard about Cougar lumps being able to go in them aswell? True?

Puma engine maybe, not Cougar.
Steve, the corsa sport is 9.5 to 60, the zetec s is 9.9
i've heard its one of the best handling hatches around, compared to other cars the same age...

i thought they were 10.2, handling is ok, far from best though, a 106 gti will be better

i've never liked the saxo, pedals are too close together, and they are unpredictable, they just snap and break traction, instead of going slowly, and predictably...
