Im putting an x20xev in my corsa in the next few weeks.
Ive got the mechanical side of it covered no probs,i was just wondering what you do about the immobiliser?
With the xev engine ive got the ecu,key/chip and the pickup round the ignition,
What else do i need from the vectra its coming from?
Is the immobiliser wiring all part of a removable engine loom or do you have to do some of the wiring yourself,like from pickup to ecu?
What have others done?
Is there an easy way to get rid of the immobiliser?
Any wiring guides anywhere?
My car is an R reg 98' x16xe sport that allready has the factory immobiliser.

Am i right in thinking i can keep my existing pickup round the ignition and this part isnt coded its just the ecu and chip in the key thats coded together?
Who has done this conversion before who i could chat too?
