You could get a HMV store card which gives you 10% off the purchase anyway, thats what I did with my PSP, interest free for 3 months I think

Ended up going to Thatz Entertainment at Lakeside. Traded in 3 old Xbox games (got about £6 each for em - every little helps )

I saved some money on a pre-owned copy of PGR3. Was in perfect condition. They also knocked a few quid off because I used to work for Game but still shopped there. They used to release titles a day or two before their official release date

trade em all in Andy. Will be surprised what you can get. How many have you got? Minimum they give is about £3 each for older titles, then up to £6/10 for newish ones.

i would imagine that HMV card james mentioned is a good way to do it.

that way you could get console games accessories etc bascially whatever you wanted and get 10% off then 3 months interest free and would probably be cheap enough to pay off for a few months after that too

and im sure when i was in hmv the other day they had a package for £330:
premium console package
choice of 2 games from 5 specific titles (but included ghost recon and tomb raider so not all shitty titles)
any other xbox 360 game

i would say thats probably the best deal around at the moment

andy check over on www.cex.co.uk cos they give you trade in values for your games

then you may be able to get some games just by trading them in. all you would have to buy then is the console

i still reckon hmv card thing will be your best bet for that

and also remember that there are some kick ass original xbox games that will work on the 360. such as halo 2

Just been into town to have a look at some Xbox 360 deals.

GAME are doing a couple of deals. Pay £350 and you get the Premium Xbox with 2 games of your choice OR buy a Premium Xbox for £280 and get 2 games for £20 each from a choice of 8 games (Prey, Oblivion, Ghost Recon, Saints Row and a few others).

HMW had one decent deal. Pay £350 for a Premium Xbox and get 2 games from a choice of 6 (Saints Row, Moto GP and can't remember the rest) plus a game of your choice.

Now what do I go for? Do I go for the GAME deal and pay £320 for the Xbox with Saints Row and Ghost Recon and then buy Test Drive Unlimited online for £40 (total = £360).
Or go for the HMV deal and get the Xbox with Saints Row and Moto GP and go for TDU as the game of my choice (total will be £350)?

I can't decide...
