Whats so good about Nakamichi? I was thinking about gettin a new headunit and am not to up on my audio but i like quality, are nakamichi really worth the money?

Yes. They are fucking amazing... The quality of them is fantastic.
Nakamichi or Becker are the way forwards. Or McPherson if you are feeling very flush...

Most CD players have a 16bit converter to convert the data on the cd to music, where as the Nakamichi units have a 24 bit converter, making the quality much better.

well steve i finally finished the longest suspension change think it took me 1 year and month or so.
the ICE is ready to be trimmed now, got my yellow top in. Its all in just not trimmed

That wouldnt really make any difference. CD music is only 16bits to start with (hence why most use 16bit converters). Using a 24bit, 32 or 1024bit converter wont really make the slightest bit of difference. Im not saying they dont use 24bit DACs, but that wont be making the difference. Probabaly just higher quality parts in general and the DACs they use may have higher SNR and such.
