Here is a copy of a letter that I sent to Harveys in relation to a wardrobe that I purchased six months ago
I took delivery of the above order on 30/05/2006. Whilst checking the delivery it was noted that pack 7 of 7 – Fixing Pack had not been delivered.
I contacted your company that day via email to inform you of this and I was informed that the fixings would be sent within two weeks.
After a few weeks I had not received the pack so I re contacted your company via telephone on the 15/06/2006 and was told that a trace would be carried out to establish the location of the pack and I would receive a call back.
I never received a call back from your company and almost a week later I re contact you via telephone and was informed that the fixings pack had only been ordered on the 15/06/2006 and it should be with me in a few weeks.
Again a few weeks passed and I had not received the pack so I contacted you again during the week beginning 02/07/2006 and was told that the pack would be sent out that week and if I hadn’t received it by the 12/07/2006 I should again re contact your company.
On 14/07/2006 I again contacted your office as I had received nothing and was told that I would receive a call back. I have never received that call back.
I again contacted you company via telephone on the 21/07/2006 and was again promised a call back which I have never received.
I am now extremely frustrated, not only at the fact I have paid for a wardrobe that I have never received, but I also have six large boxes of wood causing an obstruction lying within my hallway.
Please contact me as soon as possible to arrange for delivery of my fixings pack.
If it will not be possible to deliver them to me soonest I will require a full refund as the good are not fit for the purpose that it was intended for and you have been given more than adequate time to rectify the situation.
I look forwards to hearing from you soon.
They didnt respond to this letter so I sent another and I still havenet got my screws yet

I had other things going on at the time, I was sitting my confirmation course for the Police etc. So I wasnt able to chase it up.

Bought from the internet site.
I would have taken it back but its 8 feet x 8 feet so dosent fit easlity in to a car.
Have been to trading standards and sent two letters and have also been to the local shop 3 times - twice in uniform!!!!
