Hi guys,
A friend of mine has recently bought herself a corsa and has bought a CD player off me (as her original vauxhall tape player didnt come with the code and goes str8 into safe mode), I fitted the CD player to find that it wouldnt switch on at all (no lights on the screen, no date etc).
I tried the CD player in my own corsa and found it to work fine without any adapters etc (the red and yellow wires have already been switched from it being in my dads old vectra)
I tried putting the red and yellow back to how they were (red - red, yellow - yellow) but that made no difference
my next thought is to try my old vauxhall tape player in her car and see how its goes but does anyone have any ideas on what the problem could be???
thanks

Check the 2 live feeds to the radio (switchable and permanent) and also check the earth.
If those 3 are alright then it could be something to do the with connection between the connector block and the radio
