what does everyone think about them,
they seem to have some good deals on there where you can get a remote start car alarm kit for £35 all in all.
i just basically was looking for a cheap way of getting remote c/l so seems quite tempting getting one of these remote start for the up and coming winter season
anyone got any experience.
i could always go for one of those Toad alarm with c/l package just a basic alarm and immobliser for about £50

pay for a proper alarm.
pay for someone with qualifications and clue to install it.
Get your certificate, post it to your insurer.

Go for an alarm with a reconised name!
Unbranded ones are bit hit and miss matey!
You cant go wrong with a Toad becuase if it does go wrong at least people have had expirence with them and can elp

those hawk alarms sound quite pretty good unless the ad and wording is just convincing

Clifford are the general "db's" but i know they are extremely expensive, but you can have a "Intelli Start" ( Remote Engine Start System) fitted with cl for around £300 , that is for the basic remote cl but inc the Intelli start, i phone them up about 2 hours ago to find out what there cheapest is.
I heard Viper are very good though, cheap and they have free fitting. I have no idea about prices for Viper though, Im going to shop around before I actually buy anything though.
At the end of the day, If you buy it off eBay you have the problem of fitting it, and if you dont know your stuff u could fcuk it up and be trying to install it for days.

the real reason i made this post was to find out if anyone had purchased an ebay alarm as in unbranded.
thing im most worried about is the alarm going off all the time other then that i reckon they would be ok
