This gets on my tits now! every time i go somewhere in the car the orange light comes on...then sudden loss of power....the at a junction the car will cut off! is it something to do with the fuel filter? someone told me its my airflow meter...but i havent got one.....help please!!!

1.4 or 1.6 16v? most probley a faulty idle air control valve or a clogged up throttle body

dont have much experince with 8v's the best thing would prob be to get the code read by any garage (with a diagnoice tester) or do the paper clip test (in tutorials section i think)

if the EML comes on, there WILL be fault codes stored in it, unless the engine management is up the chuffer

ecu will only store the code if the light is on for 30+ seconds
