my gsi is up for sale.. wont be to everyones taste, but ahwell!

N reg x16xe 101k miles
FULL MOT as of last week
SORN so no tax


standard gsi engine, except piperx air filter, magnex (i think) decat, and a 3" outward rolled back box

bodywork is standard, bar, holes in front bumper, and bottom grill bar cut out, and holes cut into rear bumper. (2nd had rear bumper can be supplied, but will need painting cos it will be from whatever the scrapyeard has in)

it has a set of 15" team dynamic monza alloys, in anthracite with 195/45/r15 tyres.

suspension is standard shocks, with 60mm lowered springs.

interior has been totally stripped out. all there is inside is 1x corbeau forza FIA approved buckets seat, with 1x TRS aviation style harness. It has a FULL OMP FIA approved 10 point roll cage, with door bars. Cage is welded into position, but could do with being bolted too. The dash has been cut in half, and the airbags have been removed. Currently in process of removing all the heating pipes and motor too.

Car still has electric windows, not got round to those yet. It also has perspex rear quaters, but a glass rear window.

Bonnet has been raised, just for cosmetic looks!

battery has also been re-located into the boot.

it also has 2ltr calipers, with grooved discs (passed mot braking test with braking force of 980kg)

car was recently weighed in at 960kg, from 1100kg as standard

its just developed a slight problem, it OCCASIONALLY cuts out if givin it some welly, but fires back up again straight away.

i dont know what it is to be honest, prob somethin very simple

yea, ecu light comes on as it cuts out, but it starts straight back up

if you dip the clutch as you feel it cutting out, then it doesnt stall

could be a cam sensor or something (the one that informs of the load on the engine)

I remember seeing this car on here ages ago
