On the calibra.
Ive not been using it much as im having an ongoing dispute with my rear camber angle and a faulty camber kit with a certain supplier.
So i have been getting lifts and using it as little as possible. Decided i couldnt bare taking my little 1.2 8v to Bicester in the heat and wanted to run the cally for a long time to make sure its all working ok.
But the ride at 80+ is just crap! Its so jumpy/jittery on the smallest of lumps in the road, its WORSE than my cheap ass crap bilstein blacks for the corsa
When i ordered them from larkspeed, i was suprised they came with different brand springs. Could this be why the ride is a tad naff? I know i have rubber band tyres but it wasnt crashy it was almost as tho the springs re-bounded too much.
Worth buying some eibach jobs?

Get some proper springs on it like some Eibachs. The tyres will make the ride shite. Lowered cars on tiny tyres are not that nice to drive compared to lovely standard cars

I know its not the tyres doing it tho im posotive. As its the way it rebounds of any change in road height. So i put it down to springs/shocks. I know rattling over bumps is cause i have rubber bans
Any sites to order eibach springs from??

It will be down to the shockers not the springs as its the shockers job to contol the rebound after compression
so it looks like its not doing its job
try them on the hardest setting
if there is less bounce after the initial bump theres your answer
and then try it on the softest setting for comparison if you can hold on lol
I have just removed the coil overs on the front of the corsa due to the seals leaking and replaced them with some standard shockers and 60mm springs as a temp measure untill the get repaired/replaceed and my god its bounces ten times after the bump lol
the standard shockers just cant cope with the rebound

worth a try mate had simaliar problems with the corsa when i first put the coil overs on
on a harder setting it is slowing the return of the spring down = less bounce
