My dive club do try dives for people wanting to see whats scuba diving is like.

This was how i started diving and im now a certified Advanced Nitrox diver

Just wondering if anyone in the southeast is up for it?

I can get decent price of £15 and lasts 2-3hours!

Trust me is bloody awesome!

I don't like it....I just think there is something weird in being able to breathe underwater

last time I went was in Dubai....I cut my arm getting off the boat and thought it turned purple....I was so busy looking at that that I sunk to the bottom and cut my knee off some rocks and then I got chased by a giant turtle

that was enough for me

I haven't had the pleasure of meeting a turtle. I did get my fin nipped at by a Moray eel. Little bugger.

It certantly is. The best thing i have ever done in my life

In lanzarote this year, i did my advanced course. To show me the affects of depth the instructor took me deeper than he should have.

We went to 50 meters, and he then wrote down a sum on the board, i had to answer it, and he timed me. It took me three times longer to do at the bottom than at the top.

HAd to write my name, address and do a simple sum on surface and then do it again at bottom!

Couldnt remember how to spell things!

Normal Air. For that dive we went down to depth and then staged it coming up.

Was gonna say... little bit naughty as 50 meters on air isnt far off safety limits. 66.1meters with a PPA of 1.4

I'd always dive on nitrox on any dive over 20- mins.

Im naughty also tho as i have my PPA on the comp set to 1.6

How much does it cost for all the gear etc?

I recently came back from Egypt, where we did a 30 min dive to about 5 meters, and that was amazing!

Since then, I would really like to get into it properly. They were offering courses over there to become fully qualified divers, and also to become instructors. But I gave it a miss, as I wasn't sure if it would be valid elsewhere.

You cant really cover them up as the pressure would build up inside them and you need to be able to clear them.

What sort of trouble do you have underwater?
