Today, the Mini got some new accomodation
It started off here (with a flat tyre) -

and was going here -

so firstly, I thought I'd tidy the garage a bit, to get the Mini in better -

then, I tried to push the Mini off the gravel 'tried' being the key word. because it had a flat tyre on the left rear, it wasn't going anywhere , so I towed it (look at my knot tying skills ) -

got it out of the gap -

Then, I realised that I had to get the Corsa off the drive, to give the Mini enough room to line up to go in the garage (anyone who has been to my house will know what I mean)
So, I pushed the Mini on to the road (still with a flat tyre) -

With the Corsa off the drive too, I pushed the Mini back in, and round so it was in line with the garage -

Finally, I pumped the tyre up (yay) and pushed it back into the garage -

I'm pleasantly surprised by the space i now have in the garage, its about 3 times as much spare as I had with the Corsa in there.
Sorry to anyone expecting actual progress, but you should know me better by now
I might actually get it running now I have space to work on it

I'm gonna get it running N/A for now, then build a second engine with a decent gearbox for turbo power.
as for the Cooperness... I plan to paint the roof black, mirrors red, and get the stripes off the bonnet, and get some black arches and some 12" revolutions eventually

did it not occur to you to pump up the tyre at the start, rather than mess about pushing it around with a flat?

yeah, but the arches are designed for 7x13" wheels, the ones on it are 5x12", so I'll get some arches for 5/6x12" wheels and it'll look much better

You can, but it's notorious for overloading the bearings on the poor little Min and wearing them out prematurely.
