Alan Shearer, kept a very consistant goalscoring career going for a very long time at the top level and even bowed out of the game still being one of the top strikers in the Premiership.

shearer imo.
couple of others such as keane, giggs, bergkamp, schmicael, etc but shearer has to of been the most consistant.

Surprised he didnt say Fowler tbh.
For me its got to be shearer for his goalscoring. Though if I was being totally biast id say Dennis.
If I wanted to be controversial Id say Terry!

had considered it, and I have no doubt it he didnt get injured when he did then I could of said him. But the fact he got injured at his peak ruined any chance of being up there with Shearer.

Shearer or Keane for me, they are two players that really played at the highest of their game exclusively in the premiership, players like Berkamp, Di Canio, Beckham and Zola are all up there but of course they also had a bit of a stint in other leagues.
If we're looking for future premiership heros then we have Gerrard, Rooney, Terry and Lampard.

See, now I wouldnt say Cantona or Keane because of their disaplinary records. Only reason I would put them above Shearer.
