I have come to a tough decision after much deliberation and the time has come to sell my car after 6 years of ownership.

I am selling due to the fact I am currently stuying my ACCA and the bills are running into the thousands every exam I sit. So after thinking it through my career path is somewhat more important than cars in the long run. The fact I dont use the car daily anymore also is a contributory factor in the sale and ther fact I now commute into London for work.

The car is a 1996 on an N reg Sport, the car used to be a 1.4 16v (85k miles shell) and the shell is completely rust free and immaculate as its been Waxyoiled every year and just had a full respray in Audi Misanno Peal red (RS4 Red)

This car throughout the years has always been under fastideous maintainace by Lee Mitchell at LM styling who has done an oil change every two month since the rebuild and countless other things. The time and effort that has been put into this car is second to none and no expense has been spared. I had no intention of selling the car but recently started keeping reciepts for all the work and parts I have been buying and there is a huge folders worth.

Quick note is that this car has never had PAS, but i feel this enhances the driving experience. On the move its fine and road feel is excellent.

So the spec is:

Engine:
This has been fully rebuilt back in 2005 had a complete strip down with the following:
Accralite 0.50cc forged Pistons,
ARP rod bolts,
Heavy Duty Glycon Big end bearings and shells,
Valves cleaned and re-seated
Magnex Full Exhaust system
S/S Decat,
Powder coated pearl rocker cover
Chrome Spark plug cover
brand new oil pump
cambelt done 10k miles ago (can be redone before sale)
Brand new alternator and earth strap {06)
New Vauxhall Battery (05)
New sport Radiator (06)
It has since only covered around 12k miles and was run in well. Engine always warmed before opening up. Starts first time every time and does not tap. I once left it sitting on the drive for a month and on the first turn of the key is started up.

Running gear
M tech Hubs and shafts (with lifetime gurantee)
LM styling Engine mounts
V tuning SFI plate adaptor

Transmission
F20 Gearbox from a Calibra has only done 80k miles
M tech Short shift and new linkage rubbers
Brand new Valeo high performance Clutch and thrust bearing
Lightened and Balanced flywheel
Gearbox mount recently welded to car (for extra rigidity)

Brakes
Hispec Billet Four pot calipers
Hispec 285 Grooved discs
Braided hoses
Mintex 1144 fast road pads (which work from cold)

The brake calipers were stipped down and rebuilt with every valve and seal replaced around 2K miles ago and the performance of the brakes is trully excellent.

Suspension

Koni Yellow top Ajustables with Terra Springs-

I has these on the car for around four years and recently replaced them with a new set as I loved them so much, this was done around 5k miles ago. Also all upper and lower balljoints and all inner and outer CV's were replaced recently.

Bodywork:

Post 97 Front with blended Irmscher Lip
Steinmetz Skirts
Semi Smooth tailgate
Smoothed Steinmetz rear bumper
Fk grille
Extended smoothed bonnet
Smoothed petrol cap
Full respray in Audi RS4 Red (Missano Red)
Brand new windscreen 5 weeks ago

The car was given a full respray in August 2006 while I was on holiday and I am very pleased with the outcome as its quite possibly the brightest red I have ever seen and once the light hits it, it nothing short of amazing.

Wheels
Team Dynamic Pro Race 1.2s
195/45/15 Toyo Proxes

Interior:
Stock Pre 97 Sport interior (mint)
Electric windows/Mirrors
Mommo Race steering wheel
Mommo Gear knob
Vauxhall Velous floor mats
Sport tinted glass

Security
Cat ! Alarm and imobiliser fitted by a close friend who did a really tidy and professional installation and hid all the wirring and box.

Ice:
Never really been into my ICE so the car comes with an early Alpine headunit and a simple amp and 10" sub system.

Bad points
If I didnt highlight the minor issues with the car I wouldnt be an honest seller so I will point out a few:

1)Sideskirst are slightly bowed in the middle (hardly noticable)
2)Some of the interior plastics are not very mint but i will be replacing most of these as I know of a sport interior going at the moment.
3)Slight rattle from behind one of the heater vents
4)Heater control lights need new bulbs (will be replaced before sale)

Pictures

I am in no rush to sell the car as I still enjoy it occasionally and will not acept any outlandish or rediculous offers. No Test pilots or first time drivers need apply and no-one will be driving the car unless they can prove they have taken out the relevant insurance.

Price £3500 GBP

I think this is very reasonable price and I will challenge anyone to build a mint rebuilt XE'd corsa with four pots decent suspension and a full respray and bodywork for £3.5k The car is ready to roll with no work needed at all

By the time of the sale it will also would of been fitted with a
GSi airbox
Magnex 3" Round exhaust
If requested a rear disc conversion

Leigh the car itself was insured as a 2.0 ltr from day one as Jr mantioned but was only recently changed to a 2ltr on the registration documents as I had lost the V5C

The V5C is now present and all past insurance cover notes and certificates are kept if someone wants them with the car
