Is there alternative software that works with an ipod?

Thinking about buying one of them new little shuffles for running but I dislike I tunes.

there is an update 7.0.1 that has fixed the sync'ing issues. it really is still shit though

I've just got an ipod and updated to itunes 7 and it seems OK. itunes is still crap and i'd rather just copy my files over but hey ho. Should have waited for the new MS player instead

dave, the sync issues have been sorted, but the interface has taken a turn for the worse. focuses on album art. slow and bleurgh

lol - No I think you will find V7.01 contains some fixes for the 10s/100s of bugs people were finding like memory leaks. 7.01 still has many many bugs in it
