If I was to put coilovers on before upgrading to a larger engine would these handle the weight? Also would everything fit onto them?
I was having a discussion with a friend who seems to think I would need a 2.0 suspension off the donor car

you may need to purchase higher poundage springs, I have coilovers with higher poundage springs but find the handling to be bouncy.
