right... heres the problem... had a 1.0 put a 1.6 c16xe in ran fine for a while then the em light came on... wired ecu up to a switch to pull out codes... no codes on ecu.

start it from cold.. fine drive for 10 mins normal.. no light then boot it for 5 mins light pops on somtimes it will go on and off depending on how it feels .... now i have changed the MAF and nothing has changed, even when the lights on theres still no codes to be pulled out :S strange yes i know....

any u guys got an idea? when am slowing down or stopping revs drop and somtimes cut out depending on how it feels.

going to change the Ecu 2 morrow... need as much help as poss..

changed the lamda sensor made no difference... will have a look at the others tho !

vcehicle speed sensor

didnt think there was a VSS on teh c16xe ?

its linked into the dash, if it throws VSS fault up (code 22 i think) then just get some new dials

mate, it doesnt throw any codes up....

thats whats getting to me when the lights on it dies when a slow down and then when a turn it off and back on after a min light goes of and drives normal ?? very streange and starting to piss me off

something should be recorded somewhere... have you wired the diag plug up right to the engine loom??

yeah my mate wired everything up for me, insted of the paper clip test he wired it up to a switch insted of diag plug....
