where can i get some REALLY Bright LEDS? - in white..
these are to light up the dails in my car as i dont want lockwood dails as white would stand out way to much... so im thinking of white lights and then paint the needles white also

any electrical hardware shop at a guess ? There was a guy on here ages back, dunno if hes still on called Cobra184 *i think* he used to sell different leds

they are pricy at maplins for led's though. but make sue you get the brightest possible with a wide angle.

the ones in the heaters need to be soldered in. they are not twist fit ones, they are small push fit bulbs

this is going to start looking an odd car.
I may take them out as one has blown. just have the centre consle dark and then has the dials light up.
Whats in the MFD?

I just replaced all my lighting with standard bulbs and gave someone all the blue LED's. got sick of them standard is much better

the standard stuff in mine looks a dull white colour.
I have 2 lights out and thought id replace them with Brighter stuff, but the more i enquire the more it will look more odd with bright stuff and dull stuff...

i think im going to sack this Idea off.. and just replace the blown stuff..
2 ideas in a week now
my car would have looked so cool with the tape and bright LEDS if it wasnt for CS :'(

I have blue in mine. I like them but blue is horrible for getting any sort of even lighting. Im thinking about going for orange ones soon.
