keep getting strongly advised not to use a sponge due to the way it can trap dirt and lead to swirls in the paintwork.
Bought a halfords wash mitt, was absolute rubbish, went back and got a meg's microfibre one and its amazing.
Basically, get one, worth the £10 shame i wasted money the first time on the halfords one, Buy cheap buy twice

I have a Megs one. Holds alot of water without pissing it all out on the floor between putting your hand in the bucket and putting your hand on the car.

i have
-gold class shampoo
-clay bar & detailer
-scratch X
-gold class paste wax
-the microfibre wash mitt
-box of sponger applicator pads
-and a few of the super terry towels
-almost forget the water magnet drying towel
i made myself a little meg's shelf in the garage yesterday , just stood looking at it for ages and deciding the best way to arrange it all, was fab, even made a separate bit for wet stuff from an aquarium

its a sponge im sure its safe very soon you won't be able to even wash a car for fear of damaging the paint

Dad is confused, i seem to wash the car twice a week, used to wash the corsa twice a year and just put it in a car wash most o the time
