Yes, be good to have him on the bench even if he isn't due to start.

I wouldn't turn up if i was him personally but seen as he's dug England out a hole several times before i'm sure he'll do it again even after the way he's been treated.

No, knee jerk reaction that will result in England fans expecting him to perform miracles and then calls for him to be dropped
Lampard needs to be dropped he is gash.

If we can all see it why cant McClaren?? It should all be about current form, Lampard has been crap for England and Rooney for United. It was so easy to predict they'd both play crap and they did!! The back 5 (inc Robbo) hadnt conceeded in 7games so why change it? Beckham hasnt even played for Real lately so how on earth can people justify saying recall him?!
England make me

Bringing Beckham wouldn't be wise, it's the central midfield and the defence where things need to be altered.
McLaren can pick long baller's from anywhere so if your going to do that, then just use a Watford player instead of putting inconvenience on Real Madrid having to do without Becks for a game.

I hate the press in england.
Everything is a crisis alkways, puts too much pressure on players and manager to change.

What he said. As soon as we had a bad result it was obvious everyone would be shouting for him back, whereas 2 months ago everyone was happy as larry for him being dropped

I voted yes. Even if he dosent play a whole game he is a good player to have on the bench.

If i could be bothered to find my initial posts about Mclaren I would.
He never had the credentials to be an England manager, and should never have been considered.
His appointment was a typical FA 'headless chicken' management move. The bloke is tactically clueless with a CV that reads no better than a daily mail reporter.
I will either hang my head in shame or suggest he is ignoring venables tactical advice

McLaren's not won anything has he, he's been an assistant under Ferguson, now we know Ferguson still runs his team the same way so McLaren never had any affect on Man Utd back then, and Middlesborough just fought off their own backs to get where they did in the UEFA cup.
