Right, I'm gonna be spending this weekend decorating my Lounge, but I can't decide on a paint scheme. I've had this Fireplace delivered today and will be ordering one of these today - Clicky. The room is a basic rectangle with French Doors at one end. Gimme some colour suggestions.

I quite like mine. Slightly off colour white on 3 walls and then a very deep red colour on the wall with the fireplace. Fireplace is black marble.
Have a few pictures up with small amounts of the same colour red in them to match the wall.

Sounds very nice mate but I've just gone for the red and white thing in one of the bedrooms, looks good, but want something different in this room. Anybody got pictures of your Lounges/Living rooms to give me ideas lol.

Got this light fitting Ally - Clicky
I've had some nice Venetian blinds made aswell and laminate flooring is a must. Just not sure what style of flooring to go with, possibly a darker wood to match the fireplace.

I would have wooden venetian blinds, and flooring of a similar colour
Not keen on terracotta, but then again i dont like using a darker colour on more than one wall as it can shorten a room.
I would stick with beige/cream, and accessorize with red, red rug, red prints etc
When i re do my living room i am having natural hessian with teal, yeh it sounds rank, but looks very nice. Teal on the walls with the fireplaces, hessian everywhere else, with teal cushions and a teal framed print.

without actually seeing the room and where the light comes in etc ,
and going with the colours on this chart
http://www.indfinspec.demon.co.uk/bs_4800_colour_chart.htm
i would go for three walls in Honeysuckle Cream (bs code 08c31)
and fireplace wall in Autumn Brown (bs code 04c37)
