What do people think of this Hard Drive?
Hard Drive
I don't really have clue, but it would be used for all round applications, from games, to music and video, films and then general university work.
I have also noticed this 4GB USB Flash drive, again, is it a good buy?
USB stick
thanks

dont really know too much about external hard drives, they all seem pretty much the same to me, i just pluggged mine in and thats that. The usb stick I had a similar shaped one to that and i had problems plugging it into ports that already had something in next to it, had to take the other thing out first, try and find a smaller design one

Yea, i have the same with my current USB stick, but don't have a problem with it, just always make sure I move my USB things around.
In uni there is only one USB port anyway, so thats not a problem.

im just guessing he means the standrd ones is short, plus they have big connectors meaning that you cant always use the usb port next to it.

if you're going to be trasporting the external drive about a lot i would look at getting a external drive with a 2.5" notebook/laptop drive in it, as they are less prone to bumps/knocks - but you have to give up speed (most 2.5" drives are 5400RPM) and size (usually 40-100Gbs or so)
