drove my mates yesterday. nice car to drive, and everythings to hand like stereo etc. nice and close. clutch pedal is bit close to the tunnel thou so my leg was a bit cramped and when ur in the back its quite roomy unlike tt etc just wouldnt like to be in back of one in an accident didnt giv it much as didnt wna brake it for him thou but he said its allright nothing spectacular thou. looked at performance figures and thought they were gonna be better than that but generally a nice car to drive and love the looks of it

I think they are hideous. Funnily enough I was having a lecture on rotary engines at uni yesterday, great idea, but it seems mazda are the only company who have any faith in them!

RX7 is quick , but then that has 2 turbos , the 8 has none and also weights about 300kgs less

the 220bhp RX8 isnt exactly slow... had one keep fair pace with a friends E36 M3 along a dual carriageway up to 80-ish.
50/50 weight distribution means they handle amazingly too!
I would have one if they didnt feel so gutless to drive... they like a honda V-Tec... good real world performance but seriously lacking any OOOOooomph
