My Dads just taken my Mums Yaris in for an mot (passed obviously) The woman told him that they've never failed one and Rogers Driving School takes all his cars there, he had 1 car when I learnt to drive in 2002, he now has 13! and the only thing any of the cars needed was a clutch at 120k!!!
Just thought I'd mention it

I actually HATE them
the 1 litre engine is gay. its so unpowerful
the 1.5 is ok, but still is just grey inside.

i thought the smallest engine were 1.3's?? they aint that bad, my sister has one. its cheap, VERY good on fuel and ultra reliable.

1.0 VVTi S is basic model. My Dad is obsessed with driving it with the trip computer (yes it has a trip computer!) displaying the average MPG! Easily gets in the 50's.

Trip computers are bad, you start playing games like trying to beat your previous MPG, or maybe trying to make it go down as low as possible. I remember going out with MattB in his Cally, I think he managed to get it down to 4mpg

we dont get a 1.0 variant, just a 1.3 and 1.5. both VVTi
