arguement boiled last night between family member sin my house last night across which was the better car overall between the astra vxr and the focus st. I personally prefer the vxr but my dad and grandad etc like the focus. peoples opinions ?

This debate is gay. Its all down to personal prefferance IMO, i like the look of both, but the astra has a far superior driving position, but the focus is bigger inside.
Critics aclaim the focus' handling and the VXR is meant to be good too.
Id go for the Astra, but focus is good too.
Theres no "winner" as such.

I'm almost starting to like the Focus.
Used to think they looked crap. I think most new cars look crap then a few months later start liking them

I'd go for an ST....
If you want to look like every other Focus
driver on the road and see your car about 20 times per day...
Only see 1 VXR if im lucky, maybe 2 (1 being our own )
Both good cars, down to the individual. VXR IS quicker Even with unleaded...

I agree with Daimo, they don't look all that different to the standard Focus, styling is quite bland if you ask me (unless you get it in orange) or the white with the blue graphics.
