or at least it should be on its way,

http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=317271

bought this one, what do i need to buy before fitting, i know i need a hose from the mantzel to the filter, but im going to try and get one from a cavalier 1.7td i think it has the egr blanking, not sure, also will my x14xe lower inlet be ok to use?

will the ecu read that there is a fault without the egr on? and will the manifold be ok on emissions when it comes to mot time?

any advise would be really great

also do i use the fse i have or not?

cheers gordon

i dont see the mantzel for sale ??

Anyways, to ur questions:

Ur lower inlet will be oke.

Yes u will have to blank off the EGR valve - No it wont bring up a eml

It wont affect ur emissions

Im not too sure about mantzel, but if its anything like mine was ull ave to extend the wires for the AFM sensor <- That will bring up a EML

Also, Once on - ur first drive ur face =

If u get stuck, jus post up on here

you dont need to extend the wires for the tb . they are long enough, you just need to seperate them from the rest of the loom.

started fitting the mantzel today, ive pretty much stripped off what i dont need apart from the egr as it went dark, just wondering what to do witht the pipes that go to the throttle body, can you connect the together? also there was something on the right the side of the upper inlet that has a red plug into it, does that have to go back on? and what do i do withe the wiring loom that goes behind the top of the upper inlet manifold? and where the throttle body used to sit there is a bracket it went onto do i do away with that? cheers

also the breather pipe from the right side of the rocker cover, what do i do with that?

Glad to see u started

The DBilas *mine* I think, the two pipes are air .. Not water, there to warm the throttle body up... I jus blocked mine cos i thought warm air = Less power.

As for the red thing, im not 100% wot u mean.

The wiring loom can stay where it is ??? ..

The bracket jus leave, i think mine is still there.

U dont really need arps or sbd rollers for a limiter rise to 7,300 tbh.

Ye i had the piggyback attachment already.

I'm not quite sure if u don't have them, a guess wud be @ 400 odd, Give nobles a ring

My mate had his x14xe with a raised limiter for about 2 years, then he decided he wanted a 2l turbo, never missed a beat that engine . . . .
