Within the next 2 weeks I will start my complete engine rebuild. Finally - after af couple of months - all the parts have arrived. All the way from US, UK and Germany :-)
The parts for the engine rebuild are:
Wiseco forged pistons (79,50 mm) including high performance wrist pins and rings
Toga high performance main bearings, rod bearings and valve seals
Complete gasket set including Hussey solid copper head gasket
Sachs clutch
Dbilas vernier pulleys
ARP rod bolts
New oil-pump
The vernier pulleys:
The solid copper head gasket:
The forged pistons:
And then I have bought a used head:
Portet and polished (by Owen developments)
schrick valve springs
schrick titanium valve caps
EGR and Sai removed
New 260 or 268 degrees cams (have not decided yet)
I will use standard rods but they will be balanced. Flywheel and crank will also be balanced (by Peugeot Sport Engineering, which service the Peugeot cars in the Danish touringcar championship).
If people are interested I will take some pictures during the rebuild?
And thanks to Dave A for answering some of my questions when I was in doubt :-)
Cheers,

True! They are great looking. Almost a shame to fit them in the engine
At the moment I'm sleeping with them under my pillow

It was a part of the 'kit' with pistons and bearings etc.
You can buy it from Risse-Motorsport: http://s8637744.shoplite.de/sess/utn;jsessionid=15453ff5d689898/shopdata/0005_Motor-Tuning/0060_1.4+-+2.2+Ecotec/0270_Dichtungen+und+Dichtungss=E4tze/produktansicht.php3?artikel=0110_ZKD%2B1%3D252E6%2B16V%2Bverst%3D252E%3D2C%2B1%3D252E3mm%3D3B%2BKupfer%2B%3D28A722407%3D29
EDIT: actually the one from Risse is not solid copper (the way I read it now)

Yes, around £70. But I'm not sure the one from Risse is solid copper. It says: 'both sides covered with copper'. Some are just reinfored with a layer of copper. They Hussey gaskets are solid!

Ooooooooooh! You're right, it is a shame to lock it all away inside an engine!

And I'm glad that you have been so helpful...especially with the head, Dave
It certainly won't pass the Danish MOT if I get TB's. So that is - unfortunately - out of question
When everything is fitted the ECU will be remapped on a rolling road. I will use standard management and not something ligke Wold3D og Megasquirt.
The project will probably cost me like +£2000 when I'm finished. But that will include everything (parts, remapping etc.).

what are the requirements for danish mot as far as inlets? my engine is better for emmissions with the aftermarket management and tb's fitted than it was at standard!

The Danish MOT's are insane!
Basically you are not allowed to do anything! At one point it was illegal with an open air-filter...like PiperX and K&N
You are not allowed to do any 'chip-tuning' (remapping) at all. Mine is also better for emmissions after my remap (the way it runs now)...but it's not legal.
Until last year you were allowed to do conventional tuning (ported head, cams, etc.) on the original block. But today this is also illegal if you increase the HP by more than 20%.
Eye-lids on the head lights are not allowed. You may not lower the car to much (minimum 50 cm to head lights). You are not allowed to increase the circumference of the wheels by more than 5% (so it's almost impossible to fit 17"). The ET of wheels may not be decreased by more than 10 mm per side. Etc. etc. etc....the list is very long!
Sad but true! On the other side we are so fortunate only to pay 180% tax on our cars! So the price is almost 3 times higher than in Germany or Sweden Think my Corsa would go for around £+6000.
