DAVIS IN STROKE WORRY
Hatters boss Mike Newell has revealed that defender Sol Davis suffered a stroke on Saturday on their way to Ipswich Town.
Davis, 27, is currently in a specialist unit at Addenbrookes hospital in Cambridge.
After seeing his side beaten 5-0 by Ipswich, Newell said: "I would like to put on record that Sol suffered a stroke on Saturday, 25 minutes after we left Luton on Saturday.
"We have kept that quiet until now but that puts everything into perspective. I don't want distorted reports or sensationalism and although we are not making excuses at all for our performance, our thoughts are all with Sol.
"I'm not sure if that has had an effect on the players, but it can't really have helped. Sol has made a bit of an improvement but he lost feeling in his left side and it has affected his speech.
"It was apparently a blockage to the brain that has caused it, but I will not go into full details as I am not sure what they are."
Everybody connected with Luton Town Football Club wishes Sol a speedy recovery

Sol compilation, some nasty moments in there Most against Bristol City, but then he is a Swindon lad
Oh and the goals, one was his first EVER career goal, hence the players mobbing him in celebration, and the other was his second EVER career goal. He has only scored 2 goals in his career.

Yeah mate, thats your best bet for away fans. Close to the ground too. I might pop up for this, may well go alone if my old man is working.

Nath keep the faith.....Newell knows.
Defence wil not be our problem....but once Vine starts running on empty then we should worry.
No normal right back.....make shift left back!
we where shite again tonight however....Playing high balls up to our front two only for them to come straight back to us done us no favours.

Feeney needs rid too. Injury crisis taking its toll on our small squad.

Thought we stuck to our game plan well, played football when we needed too and kept the ball well. Luton wouldn't have scored if we were still playing now, waywood shooting to say the least.
Think we should have had a pen too and the sending off was a bit harsh! Still another 3 points and STILL unbeaten away from home.
Really think we have a good chance of promotion this season if we're lucky with injuries/suspensions - we do have a small squad so that will be the big test.

No thanks to Warren Feeney, the man is useless! The sooner Parkin and Boyd get fit the better!
