Need some advice..At the moment i am waiting on throttle bodies for my car, i have the engine management already...I was thinking of taking out the engine to do the throttle bodies and a few other things such as painting the block, new gaskets etc, last friday coming home from work i started hearing a tappety noise so im hoping the engine isn't f***** might this just be a case of new tappets or is it a lot more serious..Anyone have suggestions on what other things to change in the engine (not changinging cams!) Also i want to do some more things to the exterior so suggestions much appreciated..Thanks in advance

if fitting tb's, change the rod bolts for ARP items, cam belt, rollers for SBD metal ones, bearings and clutch.
I prefer to take engines out to fit tb's, makes it far easier and neater in the end.

Thanks for that..Ya id also rather take the engine out and im blessed to have good facilities to do so..Would you go for an aftermarket clutch or just a new original?
