thinking of building one for a project thats coming in over the winter, the customer either wants a c20xe on tb's or a c20let.

I would prefer to build a tb'd 2lt. more interesting. whats your views? how does a 2lt on tb's compare to a c20let corsa performance wise?

Fast Road = C20LET
Track = C20XE on TB...

I've only ever been in 1 TB car thats fealt as quick as a mildy tuned LET (Ph2) and that was Lucky B's.

Any other 2.0 i've been in with a TB setup hasn't really impressed me with outright performance. Even Stus 220 beast, it was fun, but wasn't amazing. Good engine for track though. LET will want to spin up all the time, but on a motorway, a TB 2.0 will have big problems against a decent setup LET.

Sound, well, both sound great, its what your "customer" wants from the car and what its going to be used for which should make the decision on the engine.

I've been lucky enough to go (and drive) an XE on TB's which near as dam it kept with mine, without gas.

I'd have that all day over my car, with the box it has. But your talking a serious wedge, to just be the same as me, which you can do for fook all!
