After owning a couple of cars that I'd always wanted to own, financial pressures of a family and becoming a home owner meant that my next car had to be a bit cheaper. I'd had three Corsa's before, so when this one came up I just had to buy it.
Its a 1994 1.2 LS. Exceptionally clean shell and seems to have been well kept all its life. I already had a Nova GSi engine in the garage, so the plan is to fit that along with some other bits and pieces, whilst keeping to a strick budget.
When Bought:
Now after a bit of tinkering:
De-badged, Ultra clear rear lights, corsa c side repeators, de-rear wipered etc.
Also not shown in pics now lowered -40mm on KYB Gas shocks and Apex Springs and an exhaust.
Coming soon: Corsa SRi interior (well minus back seats ), Sparco steering wheel, Astra GTE 14" alloys, ATE 256mm front brakes, Opel badges front and back, GSi side skirts painted black/grey, and finally the Nova GSi engine. All will be fitted when I have the occsassional spare 5 mins, lol!

I really wanted a white one (without a sunroof etc) and was lucky when this came up. I do like the metallic Blue though (Arden?).
The rear badge has always been missing, so bought Opel ones for the crack. Thought it'd be a cultural experience for the car, lol.
Just stuck the passenger side front SRi seat in this morning, will hopefully get 5 mins to do the drivers one tomorrow. Not bothering with back seats as I wouldn't have my kids in this car anyway.

Got some GSi dials now, which I'm hoping to fit on Sunday. Finished fitting both SRi front seats now, so will do door cards on Sunday too. Should look ok then

No pics yet, its been bucketing it down all afternoon!
Didn't get round to fitting the dials, but got the front door cards in. Tried to do rear ones, but my stripped T20 screwdriver was too fcuked to do the job. Picked up a new one now, so will finish the job one evening maybe.

Coming along nicely Earl,
All being well should have some more parts for this car soon
Shall have to pop out west and catch you one day, she's coming along looks much better than the 4x4 corsa you had last time I seen you.
Keep up the good work mate.

Thanks Dan, I am trying to get bits done when I have time. Just a bit of a nightmare as apparently the wife wants me to do some decorating.
You said you liked the 4x4 look, apparently it ties in with your secret plans for your car this winter...

Finished the interior now!
Stripped out:
As it is now:
I think I'll leave the back seats in until spring/summer '07 as I recon it'll look better for the time being. Atleast until I can afford a half cage and harnesses.
Next step is to fit my new dials (with a rev counter) and get hold of a puller to get my old steering wheel off and fit my new Sparco.
Also got someone who might want to buy my Nova GSi engine...could this lead to a valver...?

Quite a few people on here have done the conversion, and from what I've read its relatively easy to do. Just look in the advice section and do a search for nova gsi engine

I'm still making progress! Just fitted some new dials with a rev counter (oh the novelty, lol). The rev counter worked as soon as I hooked it up, so I'm really happy with it all.
Picking up some new wheels tomorrow morning, so will post updated pictures tomorrow. Getting some 15" (7.5" wide!) Azev 5 spokes, should go quite well with the theme I'm going for.

What is the strict budget you're working to?

Erm, next to nothing! I've got 2 kids and a house that come first, so basically I have next to no disposable income. LOL! Hence one reason I have a Corsa and no longer own my V6 Vectra SuperTouring!
Everything I'm buying is cheap and mainly 2nd hand (apart from the suspension).

Updated pictures
Had chance to get a few pictures taken today of the latest bits and pieces I've done.
New instrument panel, with rev counter!
SRi interior:
Alcantra gear lever and hand brake lever boots:
General pics of it clean:
Also picked up some new wheels. The plan was to stick some Astra GTE rims on (which I've still got), but I now have some 15" Azev alloys...which are 7.5" wide! I'll refurbish them over the next month or so and get them put on just after x-mas

I think they're the older versions of the Type A's. I'll keep both sets of wheels anyway, see which looks best when they're refurbished and on the car.

LOL, no I bought them after I left Vauxhall. Think they're £35 ish. They fit perfectly though, but do tend to wear a bit once you've had them in for a year or so.
