Ok i have just baught a standard corsa spoiler it has the bracket as well as the spoiler, looks like im going to have to drill into the boot; are there any suggestions before i start?

measure up twice to be sure, use good drill bits and put some paint (touch up brush is good) on the bare metal and let it dry before you fit the bolts.

Your hatch is missing the retaining bolts along the top to mount the bracket...which means you'll have to bond it on anyway from the sounds of it. Tigerseal is used for bonding on arches and other body fixings and is reknowned for it's strength.

You have the bracket I'm guessing it's a genuine vauxhall part so you'll have to bond the bracket to the hatch then drill holes for the spoiler fixings and bolt it on top.

im getting a local body shop to do mine, 160 quid sprayed and fitted, that sound reasonable??

Its already the right colour, im ok with drilling etc just though maybe there was some advice out there; learn from others mistakes!
