mate has been intouch and has asked me if i WANTED THE TURBO OFF THE CALIBRA HE'S BREAKING. he says with all the bits it can be fitted to me 1.2 8v is this true ? much work and money needed to do this ?

if not I was going to get it anyway as someone I know is after turbo'ing there nova so could sell it on.

advice/help please ?

learn about engines.

You can't make a 1.2 8v any quicker...let alone turbo it.

Whole cally engine into a corsa...yes it's been done... alot of work+parts+money needed.

reasonj I ask is because he stuck a turbo onto a 1.2 punto a few years back and it flew like nothing ive seen before.
might just buy it and sell on as its cheap enough

why not just put the engine and box in the corsa

Not that simple. Tuning the 1.2 is pointless. Engine conversion perhaps, but thats expensive.

well if hes going to give you it take it and stick it on ebay if its not smoking and seals are ok you will make some cash on it, thats money for nothing and money towards getting a more tunable engine duh...
