get a thin cloth and run it behind them, i used a duster and the clip will come off

Another neat way is to buy/use a cheapy little screwdriver and bend the end of it so you can unhook the clip. Needs to be fairly small obviously.....

i used the meatal from a coat hanger and bent it to the right size and shape and it worked a treat
