ordered some softstars for my sport, 16"s whats the best tyre size to run?
195/45?
what sorta price am i looking at i know they're not cheap thats all i know, lol,

195/45 or 195/40. 45s will be cheaper.

195/45 is standard on the 1.8. So yes it's a good size.
Tyres - I was using Toyo's. About £50 each then fitting.

i can fit myself so thats not a problem,
so we reckon 45's are the best? i know 40profiles are a cnunt to get on the rim

my 45's cost 53 fitted a corner... then got some vaux lockers for 24.99, which i thought was a bit of a bargin, considering the tyre place wanted 35 sheets for some mcgard ones...

i have 17's on an astra with 40's before, could feel every pebble on the road

i got locking nuts,
i used to work at vauxhall and pilfered quite a few sets,
down to 2 now though

I run 40s on the GSi. Rolling radius is actually less than the standard 185/60/14.
