Well my SRi is in on Thursday ( not that I'm counting the days or anything ) for the respray/wheel refurbing so time to finalise my decisions....
I'm having the car redone in black but with a red flake in it. Debating whether to have the scuttle panel, spoiler, arches, mirrors and bumpers WITHOUT the flake, with clear lacquer just to make them look a bit different to the rest of the car.
Would you recommend this or just go for the same paint job all over the car?

Sorry I wasn't clear....
The whole car is being painted including the exterior plastics as mentioned but the lacquer will have a red flake....my question is shall I have the clear lacquer on the exterior plastics and flake on the rest of body to break them up a bit.

I don't think that will look right.

Hmmm....but that's like saying they shouldn't have ever put black exterior plastics on every Corsa bar the GSi....
I think it might look too much if it isn't 'broken up' but not sure...
