i have a 1998 1600 corsa sport........would a gsi samco set fit perfectly??.. i i just tried fitting a hose kit off a 1400 16v and found it was completely different 
does the 1400 have a differnt angled thermostat??

the x14xe, x16xe and c16xe all use the same kits
the difference is if you have aircon or not as the rad is a different size

hmm...none of the manufactures seem to ask if i had aircon......the kit i tried to fit was off an x14xe without aircon
and mine is an x16xe without aircon

thats an odd one. do you have an aftermarket cool running stat? ost a pic of ur engine bay showing the stat hose....

i tried fitting a pipercross kit off a 95 sport..maybe its the age difference????

shouldnt be any difference. none I can think of anyway. what was different about it?

the top hose had the same angle bend...but was alot shorter and wouldnt reach from the stat to the rad...
bottom hose was nearly straight...
i didnt even bother with the other hose....it may have been right lol
