I am now LOVING PES6, ok I admit, I didn’t like it at first, but after many hours of playing it, im addicted. In this game you can create your own style of play, I like nothing more than playing as Arsenal and stroking the ball around the pitch, then playing a deadly through ball which Henry runs onto and smashes home. You can score some truly amazing goals in the game and once you have mastered all the controls, the games can look amazing.
I know the graphics aren’t on par to FIFA, or the player/club names and the lack of different stadiums, but I bought a football game I can play football on, not something that just looks pretty.
I am now happy with my choice to stick with PES, I was dubious at first but it has really grown on me – like I knew it would.

as with all the PES series, you need to give them time. I have PES6 and I must admit I'm looking forward to getting the mates round and seeing what they think of it, I think it'll be a totally different game against a non-computer opponent.
FIFA you can pick up and play. Can't do that with Pro Evo. I'm saying no more.

We had a big session on PES6 last week, 2 a-side, with 5 teams...
Was a good night, scored a header with Inzaghi from 20 yards!
We also did 8 of us against the computer, fucking hilarious that was, no defence, at least 2 players offside all the time, crazy stuff. Just kept pulling the keeper out and letting him tackle everyone.

I bought PES6 and think its amazing, I was exactly the same as Dave17, struggling to score and now winning most games by 3 or 4 goals, so time to turn up the difficulty.
I have just won my 1st season in the English League, and renamed all the English teams so I can have a proper play with it.
I do like the sound of what Cavey said, having almost a full team made of real players against the computer, must have been great fun!

You can't edit anything on the 360 version apart from player stats and abilities

On the PS2 version you can edit players stats, abilities, appearances, names, then teams names, which stadium they play at etc.

dave17 - Are you talking about the 360 version? I couldn't get to grips with it so traded it in yesterday for COD3.
My mates have it on the PS2 and I think it has much better gameplay on that!

official updates will be available to make it the same as the PS2 version. Same with the missing replay feature.
They won't release an updated kits or team name 'patch' though. Licensing and all that.

There won't be anything unnoficial through the Marketplace.

I like the precision shots you can do when holding the right trigger can curl them right into the top corner with decent players

yeah, run with the ball, the hold right trigger. You'll start dribbling with the ball really slowly, then just hit shoot.
Try getting Henry, (shooting from left to right), coming diagonally down onto the goal about 25 yards out. Then shoot.

Or when you've shot and the power meter is on press the right trigger, you don't have to be in a slow dribble
